Email: Steve Long and Attacks on Customers in Canada and messing with order

Hello Ibanez, So I have been playing your guitars most of my life. I'm not very good but things like this come with time. I just recently had a horrible customer experience related to your guitars and unfortunately it's a pretty serious problem. So I am Native American, and I have to declare this on paperwork for taxes. So the stores know what I am when I go to purchase. This issue revolves around this RG450QMB model of yours which was designed with these Quantum II Passive ceramic pickups. So the guitar had some typical manufacturing defects exhibiting at the time, some sort of soldering joint popping from weathering and humidity changes? Nobody can really say for sure right? Unfortunately there were just some weird grounding and shielding issues. Only wanted to present in my cheap MG10 Amp. The staff at the store, fought me every step of the way. Not the technicians mind you, the sales staff. Unfortunately it's evolved into the staff stalking me, and me making videos explaining the difference between active and passive pickups right? I had to make sure the people knew I understand basic circuitry. Unforunately none of this really helped me right? The distributors for you guys are also now messing with my accounts. I put in an order for a seafoam green talman acoustic at the Ellice store, July9th or 10th. I was told today, the order was only placed yesterday. So unfortunately Steve Long, and the accounting groups in Canada have been messing with my purchases and ordering dates. So now the problem actually involves you guys. So I need to understand what is going on here. Why is Steve Long messing with my order dates? Why is anything related to me and my accounts delayed and extended? I understand he owns Yorkville but this level of targeted delays and customer abuse is sort of wild to experience here. Order was made, July 10th they told me, and wasn't processed until July 27th, yesterday. Any explanation here would be great. We can't actually be having these millionaires like Steve, messing with customers in this way. It's highly unethical. If I should be ordering the guitars directly from Ibanez then they should be saying that. It's not my fault Steve hires sales people that don't know anything about your guitars. They shouldn't be abusing customers for being knowledgeable. Thanks, Tyler.

Tyler, Thanks for writing in. Sorry to hear about your experience. We are the U.S. and Canadian distributor for Ibanez products. Once our products are sold and shipped to an authorized dealer, we don't have any visibility into the dealer's internal ordering process, sales records, customer interactions, or the timing of when they submit purchase orders to us. We also don't sell instruments directly to consumers, so all new instrument orders must be placed through an authorized Ibanez dealer. Because of that, we're not in a position to determine why your order was submitted when it was or comment on the actions or intentions of any individual or dealership. If you believe your order was delayed or mishandled, that would need to be addressed directly with the dealer's management. Hi Tod, If that's the case I am bringing in Steve Long here to discuss the issues. Steve should know he is the company you sell the items too. I'd honestly like to get to the bottom of this politic situation Steve is doing to his customers. I tried to buy a guitar I wanted. Steve got in the way of it and slowed down the sale and order of said guitar. I feel this telephone game Steve plays with customers like this isn't fair. I sort of just wanted a guitar I liked and, retail executives wanted to play these games over it. I hope some sort of positive communication comes from this. Thanks, Tyler. hUsaV5_ec5aef3a-faf6-498a-8444-37868da8440d.jpg 4K ibanez_451a7dbc-62b3-4b67-9a63-a730f3494212.jpg 2K facebook1_9bb75cf1-dbee-4a8a-bd6c-efa94c282f78.jpg 1K twitter1_e629125a-fa27-4053-9cbc-0621a2829d31.jpg 1K tama_41229de8-49c6-451f-b41e-0e9d2cbad993.jpg 2K facebook11_34925344-8f46-40c0-ae74-d7e9e38d02da.jpg 1K twitter11_408c1700-02e0-4c95-ae0f-255d099e2ef2.jpg 1K

There is no conspiracy here. Do you have one Ibanez Talman on order or two? What I see, is that there is one on a short term hold for you with no deposit in black. And a second one that should arrive sept 9 which is less expensive, as it is a different model First one is Ibanex Talman Acoustic SFH The second one includes electronics. We have set shipment schedules from Ibanez, every two weeks, we don't order from them every day, we batch the orders together and then if they are in stock when the order comes in they ship, if not, they ship when they come in. We are dealing with Ibanez USA, there is no "special order from the factory".. basically they ship us what they have when we order it, and if they don't have it, they ship it when it arrives. There is absolutely no scenario where I told anyone to delay your items for petty purposes, that's just not how I roll. The one with electronics is on hold for you until aug 2, perhaps mark is keeping it for you to evaluate. Steve Please check out our website at www.long-mcquade.com

Steve, It's not a conspiracy it's just the truth. I made the order July 10th. It wasn't processed until July 27th after we had our email exchange about these issues and you unfortunately had your staff assault me and file a protection order on me for right? It wasn't until after you said that I would receive the guitar, it was processed the Monday after. I was told, 10-11 business days from Adam, the same manager you had tell me "I started it" and justified the online harassment your staff cradled_filth started doing. All of these things you keep failing to recognize are unfortunately related. Had Adam accurately explained what would happen with the seafoam green Ibanez, I would of said no then. These failed communication efforts are all to do with your staff Steve and you keep justifying these failures again and again. I'd like this garbage to end. Your staff to stop the lies here. The entire thing is a problem Steve. Still no apology from cradled_filth or Adam for the online harassment or Adam yelling at me on the phone. No apologies for Jason trying to touch me. Again Steve, I'm one person. A disabled and crippled man. This whole situation is above and beyond unprofessional which is why the human rights complaint is valid. Your staff shouldn't be racially targeting customers the way they have and this entire thing is really wild to experience. If the guitar I ordered can't come within the 10-12 business days Adam said it would be on July 10th then it was a lie Steve. Since you have such control over viewing my account personally you can go ahead and cancel both of them and take the deposit from the ordered one and put it towards my balance. You don't even seem to understand the second guitar was one in stock already at the store and it wasn't a double order just something I planned on taking instead since Adam lied about the initial order. Deeply unprofessional all around. This account segregation I am experiencing is wild.
